JOB TITLE: Junior accountant

Established for over a decade, Optimus Actus are Chartered Certified Accountants & Registered Auditors based in Nicosia. Due to expansion, we are seeking new personnel for full time employment.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping for Cyprus and International Companies, preparation and submission of VAT & VIES returns.
  • Preparation of payroll, social insurance forms and other services for our clients.
  • Possible participation in audit procedures.

Required qualifications & experience:

  • Previous working experience at an accounting department or audit firm will be considered an advantage.
  • Bachelor degree at a University in Cyprus, UK or other, relative to Accounting and Finance is required, or an ACCA student or affiliate.
  • The successful applicant should have perfect command of the Greek and English language and be eligible to work in Cyprus/EU.
  • Salary will be determined according to the qualifications, experience and competence.
